Learn MoreSedalia’s warm, humid season and long pollen stretches can clog mesh and strain fasteners, especially on west-facing porches that take more sun and storm exposure. We build and rescreen with proven materials like charcoal fiberglass insect mesh, pet-resistant vinyl-coated polyester, aluminum screen, and solar screen, then fit them to tight, square openings so screens stay drum-tight instead of wavy or loose.
Ground moisture and splashback around slabs and crawlspace foundations can accelerate wood rot at the bottom rail and invite insects through small gaps. We look for soft framing, racked openings, and failing caulk lines, then correct the substrate before screening, using rot-resistant lumber where needed and exterior-grade sealants at transitions, so your screen system performs as a barrier, not just a covering.
You get a straightforward process from first call to cleanup. We schedule a site visit, take precise opening measurements, document frame conditions, and provide a free written estimate that lists mesh type, spline size, fasteners, and any framing repairs, then coordinate timing around your household or business hours.
On install day we protect floors and landscaping, remove damaged mesh, clean and prep the track, and install new screen with the correct spline for a consistent bite. We use professional screen rolling tools, mitered corners where applicable, and clean terminations at doors and windows, leaving you with even tension, neat lines, and secure closures you can use daily.
After the work is complete, we walk the project with you and point out maintenance steps that matter in Sedalia, like rinsing pollen off solar screen and keeping bottom rails clear of mulch buildup. If you need upgrades, we can quote options such as pet screen on lower panels, smaller mesh for gnats, or reinforced kick plates and screen doors for high-traffic entries.
